Microshading & Ombre Brows

Over the years, the world of eyebrows has gotten a lot of attention. The days of your only choices being plucking, waxing, tweezing and using a pencil are long gone. Here at My Eyebrow Girl, we are well aware of the many techniques that are now available. We have worked on the brows of many in Altamonte Springs, FL. Microblading was and still is a popular choice for many clients. During this process, we tattoo pigment into the eyebrows. We do this in short strokes that look just like the natural hair that is in your brows. This technique fills in your brows, shapes them, and makes them look flawless. For many years, this was the option of choice for those who had bare spots or thinning brows. However, things have changed and now there are more options available than ever before.

Microshading is one of these options. It's similar to microblading in that pigment is tattooed into the skin. It is important to note that the pigment used on the eyebrows and other types of permanent makeup does not penetrate the skin as deeply as a traditional tattoo would. Microshading is different due to the technique used. Instead of longer strokes that look like hair, dots are tattooed on the brow area. These dots fill in sparse areas and look like your very own brows. This option is a great choice for those with sensitive skin. It is a gentler technique.

Still another option is ombre brows. If you already have full eyebrows but like to fill in with a pencil each day, ombre brows are an option for you. This technique is not for those with sparse brows. If you already have plenty of hair and you just want a more filled in look, ask us about this and what it can do for you.
